Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or the Sciences.
• 3+ years of Health & Safety experience, 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with OSHA, LOTO, and Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Industrial Hygiene, Fire Prevention LOTO, PPE, etc. programs and align with company objectives.
• Ensure training programs are in place to ensure compliance.
• Implement accident, near miss, and observation reporting programs to proactively manage safety performance.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and manage documentation to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Present incident details and corrective action plans to various levels of the business.
• Ensure Job Safety and Environmental Analyses/Job Hazard Analyses are conducted as required.
• Evaluate operational practices to identify and eliminate workplace hazards.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Learn and apply environmental regulations (air, water & waste) permitting, compliance and recordkeeping requirements.
• Assist with EHS audits and training programs as needed.
• Establish working relationships with regulatory agency personnel.
