Job description

A semiconductor manufacturing firm is looking to hire an experienced EHS Engineer with a manufacturing background to join the existing EHS team. The individual will be responsible for working with the team to conduct JSAs, lead incident investigations, and site audits. A bachelors degree in a relevant major is required.

The Role:
  • Work with the EHS team to meet compliance with current OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations regarding environmental, health, and safety procedures and reporting.
  • Participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, and support the implementation of effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct site safety inspections and actively contribute to the safety committee to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
  • Assist in hazard and risk assessments, environmental impact evaluations, and EHS audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
The Candidate:
  • 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, health, safety, chemistry, engineering, and/or other related fields.
  • Knowledge of state and federal EPA, OSHA, and Cal-OSHA regulations.
