Job summary

A global staff augmentation firm is seeking an EHS Engineer to support regulatory health and safety requirements within semiconductor manufacturing. A minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS along with a relevant bachelor's degree is required, with semiconductor experience preferred. Certifications like CSP or CIH are advantageous. Qualifications

Job description

The EHS Engineer will support regulatory and industry health and safety requirements while balancing operational, personnel, and business needs in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion workplace safety through leadership, communication, and training.
• Conduct EHS training (respiratory, fall protection, hazard communication, ergonomics).
• Perform ergonomic evaluations and industrial hygiene risk assessments.
• Apply OSHA, NFPA, NEC, SEMI, and ANSI standards.
• Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis.
• Lead site safety committee meetings and manage corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and best known methods (BKMs).
• Provide safety coaching to employees and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, industrial hygiene, safety, or related field.
• Semiconductor equipment manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• CSP, CIH, CHMM, or CPE certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
