Job summary

DISHER is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to support a 2-year contract with our customer team in the Medical Device industry, based in Michigan. The role focuses on site-level EHS execution, risk assessments, and equipment safety reviews to ensure OSHA and ISO compliance.

You will operate with autonomy on a program-wide EHS presence, drive proactive safety improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in manufacturing/ EHS engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience performing risk assessments and equipment safety reviews.
• Ability to understand and interpret OSHA and ISO standards.
• Ergonomics assessment experience for new and relocated assembly processes.
• Proactive, independent work style and onsite EHS presence during the program.
• Medical Device experience or similarly regulated manufacturing experience required.
