Job summary

DISHER is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to support a 2-year contract with our customer team in the Medical Device industry, based in Michigan. The role focuses on site-level EHS execution, risk assessments, and equipment safety reviews to ensure OSHA and ISO compliance.

You will operate with autonomy on a program-wide EHS presence, drive proactive safety improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Must have a degree in manufacturing/ EHS engineering or a related engineering field.
Experience performing risk assessments and equipment safety reviews.
Ability to understand and interpret OSHA and ISO standards.
Ergonomics assessment experience for new and relocated assembly processes.
Proactive, independent work style and onsite EHS presence during the program.
Medical Device experience or similarly regulated manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

Execute EHS support across program at the site level.
Complete risks assessments and equipment safety reviews for new and relocated equipment.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO standards and maintain safe processes.
Operate with autonomy as site EHS presence during the program.
