Olin Chemicals is offering an Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer Co-Op for Fall 2027 in Freeport, TX. The role focuses on developing and implementing EHS initiatives across manufacturing environments, and serves as the engineering representative on small capital projects throughout the rotation.

You'll lead multiple hands-on projects, collect and analyze EHS data, and assist with policies and procedures to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

Competenze

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Environmental or Chemical Engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• GPA must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times; official transcript required each term.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 completed credits) before first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during rotation; not eligible for virtual work.
• Must obtain a TWIC and possess a valid US Driver's license.
• Olin does not sponsor visas; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Mansioni

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, defined at rotation start.
• Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting EHS and quality-related data.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with employees and supervisors to promote a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
