Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, EHS to lead safety strategy across multiple EMCOR companies in the mid-Atlantic region.

You will provide safety and occupational health leadership, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while improving safety planning, processes, and performance. The role involves guiding local safety personnel, coordinating with leadership, and supporting related areas such as environmental compliance, fleet safety, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent trade experience required.
• BCSP or other certifications such as CSP, CHST, CESCP, etc. or ability to obtain such certifications is a plus.
• 10 years minimum leadership experience addressing and reducing risk in hazardous, labor-intensive industry.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental health and safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement safety policies for 5–10 companies with 3,000–6,000 employees.
• Monitor compliance with workplace regulations at multiple sites.
• Maintain safety documentation and required recordkeeping.
• Assist safety leadership with analysis and action plan development.
• Review incident management data and drive corrective actions.
