Oxbo is seeking a Safety Director to lead our EHS programs at the Marshfield, WI facility. You will develop, implement, and improve safety policies, drive regulatory compliance, and coordinate with regulators and auditors.

You will supervise training, incident investigations, and risk management efforts, ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to OSHA, EPA, and DNR requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with environmental compliance programs, permits, and regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience leading employee training and safety committees.
• Strong understanding of incident investigation processes and safety management systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
• Collaborate with management to create, implement, and maintain safety policies and programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR; maintain records and reporting.
• Lead safety training for all employees and conduct new-employee safety orientation.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and track metrics for improvement.
• Manage audits, inspections, and corrective actions; interface with regulators and auditors.
• Prepare monthly and annual safety/environmental reports and manage emergency preparedness.
