Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking an EHS Coordinator to coordinate new hire onboarding and manage safety trainings. The role will handle incident investigations, risk assessments, and hazard analysis while reinforcing safe behaviors and conditions across the plant.

You will provide training on incident investigation, root cause analysis, and behavior-based safety, and ensure compliance with corporate safety programs and environmental responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Safety-related degree or certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plus.
• Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in training/public speaking preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA and federal/state regulations on safety, health and environmental issues.
• Strong written and oral skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety awareness training and onboarding for new hires.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Provide training for supervision in incident investigations.
• Deliver behavior-based safety training and track safety data.
• Perform risk assessments and update training programs.
• Support environmental activities (stormwater, spill prevention, recycling).
• Assist with safety program documentation and compliance.
