Job summary

Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to help design and implement comprehensive EH&S programs. The role focuses on improving safety procedures and coordinating with partners and show management to maintain compliance across LVCVA facilities.

The position also involves leading safety training, conducting risk assessments and inspections, and developing KPI-driven safety reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety preferred.
• Proficient with federal, state, and local codes and regulations (OSHA, FEMA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI, ASTM).

Responsibilities

• Help create and implement EH&S programs; support safety partnerships and training.
• Conduct risk assessments and inspections; update JHA; document incidents and corrective actions.
• Develop KPIs and safety dashboards; generate reports for management and stakeholders.
• Participate in safety committees and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities.
• Engage with partners, show management, contractors, and EACs to promote safety culture.
