Job summary

Drive Medical is seeking a skilled Safety professional to oversee onsite safety programs at our New Jersey facility. The role focuses on weekly inspections, hazard assessments, and coordinating safety training for all shifts and contractors.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree, 2+ years in safety, OSHA/CCOHS knowledge, and valid safety certifications or the willingness to obtain them within 3 months. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field; CSP certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in safety.
• OSHA/CCOHS compliance knowledge; read and apply regulations.
• First aid/CPR/AED/OSHA 30 certified or willing to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and order in all work areas.
• Oversee site safety training, orientation, and safety training records.
• Maintain safety training records and regulatory logs.
• Lead hazard assessments and incident investigations with detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with HR and site management on injuries and workers' comp matters.
• Ensure compliance with Confined Space, Lockout/Tag Out, and related procedures.
