Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator in Enfield, CT to implement safety policies, conduct inspections, and drive OSHA compliance on the manufacturing floor.

You will lead safety training, manage SDS, oversee incident investigations, and partner with HR to onboard staff and report monthly safety metrics. This role requires 3–5 years of EHS experience and a related Bachelor’s degree, with bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in safety management or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace compliance requirements
• Experience with incident investigations and root-cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular facility inspections and document findings
• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and schedules
• Deliver safety training programs for production staff
• Coordinate incident investigations and report to EHS and insurers
• Manage SDS and ensure accessibility to employees
• Collaborate with HR on safety onboarding and hours reporting
• Assist with machine guarding and equipment safety improvements
• Participate in employee safety committee and continuous improvement initiatives
