Job summary

Jefferson Industries Corporation is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join the team on 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 2:00pm–10:30pm). The role supports safety, health, quality, cost and delivery goals for Jefferson Industries Corp.

The candidate will create and manage safety programs, lead training, manage workers’ compensation, maintain OSHA records and coordinate with Safety Committee to improve site safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10-hour training completed; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• Experience applying safety themes in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage safety programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead safety training and ergonomics programs for associates and contractors.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and OSHA record-keeping.
