Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency with PLEX and Excel is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; daily interaction with management and customers.
• Ability to train and direct associates to meet daily work requirements.
• Detail‑oriented and highly accurate.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program by promoting safety, providing training opportunities, and enforcing safety policies.
• Track and monitor associate safety to meet established target goals.
• Ensure associates perform a copy of their areas.
• Model for attendance; ensure presence on floor and plan ahead.
• Complete daily tasks efficiently, maximizing production for both shifts.
• Fill in for vacations and absences while maintaining team leader activities.
• Ensure daily work prevents acceptance, creation, and passing on of bad parts.
• Communicate and address shortages or quality issues to identify root causes.
• Follow-up communication with other shifts; retrain associates as needed.
• Train and follow up to ensure all start‑up, tugger, and forklift checks are done correctly.
• Observe breaks and lunch periods, staggering them with management.
• Arrive 30 minutes before shift start, prepared for work.
• Be available unless on lunch/break; provide contact routes.
• Train all associates in the area of responsibility and verify procedures.
