Job summary

Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Coordinator to support the Conway Facility EHS Manager in implementing regulatory-compliant safety programs. The role emphasizes incident tracking, inspections, and training to foster a proactive safety culture.

The coordinator will assist with PPE management, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance across the site, collaborating with various teams to promote continuous improvement in safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 10‑hour or 30‑hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Any additional safety certifications (e.g., HAZWOPER, Fire Safety) are a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Familiarity with basic EHS concepts and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA).
• Experience with inspections or audits is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing safety programs to maintain a safe working environment per regulations.
• Conduct regular plant inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Support tracking and documentation of incidents; participate in root cause investigations.
• Assist in scheduling employee training on permits, safety procedures, and PPE use.
• Help manage PPE inventory and ensure proper distribution and usage.
