Job summary

IDEX is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support and continuously improve EHS programs within our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is highly visible on the floor and partners with employees and leaders to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Three to five years' experience supporting environmental, health, or safety programs in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety and environmental compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety and environmental inspections, audits, and workplace observations to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, training documentation, inspection reports, and compliance tracking systems.
• Coordinate EHS training for new employees and ongoing training for the workforce.
• Support incident investigations and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Partner with operations and leaders to identify hazards and promote safe work practices.
