Job summary

Intersect is advancing gigawatt-scale energy and data center projects and seeks an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to coordinate safety programs across sites. You’ll partner with project teams and EPC contractors, reporting to the Head of EHS and working with Construction, Operations, Engineering and Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years in heavy industrial construction or energy projects.
• ASP, CHST, or OSHA 30-Hour preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
• FEMA IS-100/200/700/800 training or equivalent; ISO 14001/45001 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day site compliance with local laws, regulations, and EHS policies.
• Report on EHS targets, safety metrics, and KPIs across the company.
• Track EHS budgets and assist with project justifications.
• Maintain EHS training curriculum databases and attendance records.
• Gather monthly safety reports from EPC partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Perform site visits to observe safety practices and assist field teams.
• Evaluate prospective contractors’ EHS history during bid reviews.
• Monitor compliance checklists and organize safety records and OSHA documents.
