Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily Health, Safety, and Environmental activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and programs.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Identify hazards and work with leaders on corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; assist root cause analysis.
• Maintain records of incidents, inspections, training, and actions.
• Coordinate employee safety training including PPE, LOTO, hazard communication, emergency response.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Support environmental compliance including waste management and chemical handling.
• Maintain SDS and proper labeling/storage of hazardous materials.
• Promote proper PPE use and adherence to safety procedures.

Job description

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to support Health, Safety, and Environmental programs at their Three Rivers, MI facility.

Pay Rate: $75k - $85k

Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily Health, Safety, and Environmental activities throughout the facility
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs
• Conduct routine safety inspections, workplace audits, and hazard assessments
• Identify potential workplace hazards and work with department leaders to implement corrective actions
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries and assist with root cause analysis
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, corrective actions, and other HSE activities
• Coordinate employee safety training, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, hazard communication, emergency response, and other required topics
• Assist with OSHA compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
• Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management, chemical handling, and environmental documentation
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure proper labeling and storage of hazardous materials
• Monitor and promote proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in an HSE, EHS, Safety, or Environmental role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements
