Role Overview
The organization is currently seeking an EHS Coordinator to support and enhance workplace safety and environmental compliance programs in alignment with OSHA, UOSH, and other applicable regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for strengthening safety systems and ensuring compliance through effective implementation of policies, procedures, and documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety training programs and support workforce awareness on EHS requirements.
- Perform hazard assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Manage hazardous waste handling processes and ensure proper environmental compliance.
- Maintain regulatory documentation including SDS records, permits, compliance logs, and prevention plans.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking to ensure continuous compliance improvement.
- Support environmental monitoring programs and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure safe handling and management of hazardous materials in production environments.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not mandatory for experienced candidates).
- Hands-on experience working closely with production teams.
- Experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA reporting logs and compliance systems.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Working knowledge of OSHA compliance frameworks and safety protocols.
- Awareness of OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) principles.
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement (CI) and EHS integration into CI initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of office procedures, filing systems, and data entry practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
