In this role, you will support day-to-day EHS activities under the guidance of site EHS leadership, helping ensure employees have the tools, processes, and support needed to work safely and in compliance with applicable requirements. What you’ll do
  • Maintaining required EHS records, documentation, and site notices
  • Participating in one or more Environmental, Health & Safety framework elements and supporting broader site EHS initiatives
  • Supporting the availability, maintenance, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety supplies
  • Verifying that equipment such as dosimetry and PPE is available and used correctly by employees
  • Preparing and calibrating equipment used to collect and analyze samples
  • Helping monitor workplace conditions related to environmental hazards, including radiation, chemical, biological, and noise exposure
  • Supporting safety equipment purchasing by reviewing specifications and helping ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Assisting with environmental analysis reporting, workplace studies, and accident investigation follow-up in partnership with the EHS team
  • Reviewing credentials, licenses, and permits to support site compliance requirements
What we’re looking for

To be considered for this role, candidates should bring the following:

Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Ability to lift/move materials up to 35 pounds

Ability to work in environments that may involve hazardous materials

Flexibility to work overtime as required

Preferred qualifications
  • 2- or 4-year post-secondary education with coursework in occupational and environmental safety and health
  • Previous EHS training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • EHS certificates or related credentials
