Job summary

ERM is hiring a motivated hands-on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant to join our Seattle team. The role is on-site five days a week, full-time for a 6-12 month contract with a possibility of renewal.

The ideal candidate will develop and support implementations of OSHA and EPA requirements, client-specific EHS programs, SOPs, job hazard analyses, emergency response plans, and contractor safety management.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of EHS experience with emphasis on health and safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance audits to assess client regulatory compliance.
• Provide training, field coaching, and EHS assessments.
• Identify corrective actions to close audit findings.
• Deliver EHS compliance projects on topics such as lab safety, chemical safety, and waste management.
• Develop and implement EHS procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
• Manage tasks within scope, budget, and schedule; ensure quality of deliverables.
• Build client relationships and pursue repeat business.
• Support ERM Partners and Project Managers in delivering projects.
• Collaborate with ERM colleagues across teams.
