O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Environmental Health and Safety professional to assist the EHS team in monitoring and coordinating compliance programs for a safe environment for team members and customers.

The role covers regulatory filings, incident response, waste management, and process improvements across stores and distribution centers, with opportunities to contribute to a strong safety culture at multiple sites.

Formación

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to achieve corporate and departmental objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Create and update HMIS and related materials required by regulatory agencies.
• Maintain regulatory calendar for timely environmental reports and filings.
• Maintain the Risk Management safety & environmental database.
• Provide OSHA, EPA or other regulatory inspection responses before deadlines.
• Coordinate waste stream collections across stores and DCs (used oil, hazardous waste, e‑Waste, etc).
• Monitor store and DC safety and environmental programs for compliance.
• Assist stores and DC operations with environmental questions and programs.
• Track and improve the hazardous waste process and costs.
• Supervise monthly waste pickups and submit state manifests.
• Process fire protection certifications and handle vendor invoices.
• Support all EHS compliance efforts and cross‑functional programs.
