Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking Manufacturing Engineer II/SR to support a broad set of manufacturing projects in our Tulsa facility. You will lead moderate to complex engineering tasks, participate in capital planning, and implement tooling, process changes, and lean improvements.

Expect to collaborate with design, production, and finance teams to improve efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. CAD and SAP experience are preferred, with Lean concepts a plus and potential Lean Leader certification.

Qualifications

  • 6-9 years of relevant work experience in engineering (for Senior)
  • CAD skills required
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in engineering or related field
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in engineering preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • General fluency in SAP preferred
  • Experience with Lean concepts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement moderate complexity training initiatives to support manufacturing.
  • Identify, specify, and justify moderate complexity capital expenditures.
  • Investigate, purchase, and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Recognize, recommend and validate design and process changes to improve manufacturability.
  • Implement changes with product design engineering.
  • Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, department layout and machinery efficiency.
  • Analyze and make recommendations using summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.
  • Lead and support safety, 5S, and Lean initiatives.
  • Expected to complete internal Lean Leader certification.
  • Will provide mentoring, training, indirect supervision of other team members, or may have direct reports.
  • Manage moderately complex team projects involving individuals from various departments to ensure integration between manufacturing, sales, finance, marketing and product engineering.
  • Support production and manufacturing to optimize quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction.
  • Support production and manufacturing quality management system and policies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program. The starting base pay range for this position is $95,161-$130,485 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
