Job summary

Henry Schein seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional in New Jersey to develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs across warehousing and manufacturing operations. You will conduct on-site inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance, support incident investigations, and coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed.

The role requires 2–5 years of EHS experience, familiarity with Cal/OSHA and DOT hazardous materials regulations, and strong

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of EHS experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
• Experience with Cal/OSHA regulations and compliance programs is preferred.
• Experience with SDS programs, OSHA compliance activities, and hazardous materials regulations.
• Experience with DOT hazardous materials shipping requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct routine onsite inspections of manufacturing and distribution warehouse operations to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analyses; recommend corrective and preventive actions and verify effectiveness.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies on incident investigations, inquiries, findings and/or complaint allegations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA standards, including HazCom, PPE, emergency action plans, fire prevention, forklift safety, lockout/tagout, andBloodborne Pathogens.
