Job summary

Ferrara/KME is seeking a Safety & Environmental Compliance Lead to ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards. You will train staff, manage hazardous materials programs, and supervise safety initiatives for a busy manufacturing site.

The role requires five years in manufacturing safety, a BS in a related field, and strong English communication. You will coordinate with maintenance and operations to uphold environmental stewardship and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• BS in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or similar field.
• Must be familiar with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and train employees accordingly.
• Oversee environmental compliance program implementation and safety checks.
• Maintain hazardous materials lists and MSDS catalogs; supervise Safety Committee and investigations.
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly safety inspections and proper recordkeeping per regulations.
