Job Title: HS&E Compliance Coordinator
Department: Health & Safety
Reports To: HS&E Compliance Manager

Our client, a precision metal fabrication and stamping manufacturer in Mundelein, IL, is seeking to place an enthusiastic HS&E (EHS) Coordinator on their team!

Summary: The HS&E Compliance Coordinator is a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Reports directly to the HS&E Compliance Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Be familiar with the company's Quality Policy and Objectives.
2. Assist or cover trainings for personnel for specific needs in general trainings and production trainings.
3. Update training records and documentation when required.
4. Perform safety walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and process reports to distribute to departments.
5. Complete paperwork and follow up on corrective actions for internal accidents.
6. Have manufacturing process knowledge per department, i.e., Flow.
7. Update the company's Training Matrix monthly when needed.
8. Support in the implementation of the initiatives for ISO 14000.
9. Seek out potential cost savings on safety items.
10. Perform day-to-day tasks for HS&E at the corporate location (meetings, projects, trainings, etc.).
11. Update MSDS in the Unipoint system.

Skills and Abilities Required:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
