Job summary

Allegion is seeking an EHS Corporate Intern in Carmel, IN to support manufacturing-based EHS activities. The role focuses on compliance, program development, and ISO standards assistance as part of the corporate EHS team.

Qualified students pursuing a BS in EHS Management with GPA 2.8+ will collaborate on audits, program implementation, and continuous improvement projects under supervision, contributing to a safer workplace and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in EHS Management, or equivalent with a minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Organized and a team player.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Strong task planning with ability to prioritize.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated problem solver with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Works under immediate supervision of more experienced staff.
• Relies on instructions and guidelines to perform functions.
• Participates in program development for uniformity and compliance.
• Assists facilities with ISO EHS standards implementation.
• Participates in and conducts EHS audits with peers and management.
• Involved in EHS program implementation processes.
• Leads small projects to support department goals.
• Receives direct assistance on difficult tasks.
