Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Minerva, OH is seeking a co-op student to work on Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) assignments.

You will apply school principles to real processes, collaborate with the hourly workforce, and drive safety improvements on the manufacturing floor. The role includes assisting in accident investigations, EH&S inspections, and documenting compliance while enabling hands-on learning and potential financial return.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Environmental, Health, or Safety discipline.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Apply EH&S principles to improvements and solutions in real operations.
• Collaborate with hourly workforce to address day-to-day safety and health concerns.
• Assist in investigating facility accidents and developing corrective actions.
• Perform EH&S inspections and document compliance.
• Take ownership of EH&S projects on the manufacturing floor.
• Provide new hire safety training and orientation.
• Participate in teams to analyze improvements and develop requirements for compliance.
• Assist with environmental improvements such as waste minimization.
