Job summary

Entegris in Aurora, IL is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6‑month assignment offers hands-on experience supporting safety and compliance initiatives within our EHS team, including audits, training, and employee engagement.

The role emphasizes data collection and analysis, ongoing improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in safety, health and environmental management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, focusing on LOTO, machine guarding, ergonomic risk assessments and JSAs.
• Assist in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems; participate in audits, inspections and gap analyses.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and employee engagement initiatives to promote safety culture.
• Collect, analyze and present EHS data to support performance metrics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide general support to the EHS department as assigned.
