Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety Co-op to support safety program implementation, conduct JSAs and audits, and maintain the SDS database.

You will assist with regulatory compliance, EH&S training, and environmental reporting, collaborating with site leadership to foster a safe, compliant workplace. This role provides hands-on experience for students pursuing a technical degree.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Safety Engineering, or related technical field.
• Knowledge of WAC/OSHA regulations or willingness to learn.
• Ability to train and direct actions of others on health or safety issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing EH&S programs and conduct JSA and audits.
• Maintain SDS accuracy and develop a digital SDS database.
• Audit safety equipment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support dissemination of safety information through signs, posters and training material.
• Assist in environmental reporting and permit documentation.
