Job summary

Fabpro Polymers is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist I to lead and improve EHS programs at our Kingman, KS facility. You will ensure compliance with regulations, drive safety training, and champion continuous improvement in safety, production, and quality.

The role requires 3–5 years in EHS in manufacturing, a relevant degree, and preferred CSP/CHMM/OSHA certification, with proficiency in MS Office and EHS software. Occasional travel may be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in EHS, preferably in manufacturing.
• Certification in EHS (CSP/CHMM/OSHA) preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen knowledge helpful.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Proficient with MS Office and EHS software tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and educational programs to employees.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk assessments and safe work practices.
• Monitor environmental impact and support sustainability goals.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
