Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare division is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead regulatory compliance, hazardous waste management and safety programs across pharmacy, distribution and corporate operations.

You will partner with site leadership to ensure OSHA/EPA/DOT compliance, manage permits, lead investigations and CAPAs, and deliver training while supporting a proactive safety culture in a hybrid Glasgow, KY area operation with up to 25% travel in the continental US.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regulations.
• Oversee hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, controlled substance waste, regulated medical waste, and sharps management programs.
• Environmental programs including spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response, and reporting.
• Safety & risk management: inspections, audits, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Training and employee engagement: develop and deliver EHS training and ensure compliance documentation.
• Emergency preparedness and business continuity coordination.
