Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) Lab Analyst for its Fremont, CA facility to support EHS initiatives and drive a zero-injury, environmentally responsible culture.

The role partners with site leadership to implement policies, coordinate incident reporting, perform risk assessments, and manage safety programs across the site, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or safety science or related field.
• 3–5 years of EH&S experience or a combination of education and experience preferred.
• Behavioral Based Safety experience.
• CAL/OSHA experience.

Responsibilities

• Interface between facilities, Business Unit Management, and Corporate EHS.
• Develop policies, standards and procedures and ensure implementation and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate reporting, root cause and trend analysis of workplace incidents and environmental incidents; create corrective actions.
• Improve JSA and risk assessments; ensure labs have JSAs and understand when to use non-routine risk assessments.
• Set short-term (annual) and long-term (3–5 year) goals for safety, health and environmental system improvements.
• Direct efforts to meet or exceed goals and guide management for continuous safety culture improvement.
• Plan, administer and track safety programs including hazardous communication, contractor safety, machine guarding, BAS, powered industrial truck, electrical safety, etc.
• Provide guidance and expertise in safety, health and environmental activities and standardize EH&S documentation.
• Manage facility environmental permits, track energy reduction projects and safety/environmental metrics.
• Plan, implement, maintain, and monitor the EH&S management system tool.
• Oversee the MOC process for changes and equipment transfers.
• Assist or lead internal or external audits and track corrective actions.
