Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead and maintain our site safety program in a manufacturing setting. You will develop and monitor the EHS management system to ensure compliance with TE policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

You will implement safety initiatives, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in EH&S performance across the facility. The role requires strong communication and auditing abilities and a commitment to worker safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years (8+ preferred) of EH&S experience in manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health or environmental discipline preferred; HS/GED with relevant equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing role preferred.
• Strong demonstrated communication, negotiation, influencing, collaboration and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability in conducting audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS throughout a site.
• Proven knowledge of Texas laws, OSHA & ISO 45001/14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, implement, maintain and monitor an EHS management system that meets SAFE requirements and TE policies.
• Deploy TE safety initiatives including BBS, ergonomics, risk assessment, EHS training and machine guarding.
• Manage EHS budget and lead site-level EHS projects and improvements.
• Assess, quantify and prioritize EHS risks and develop action plans for control.
• Create and deliver training to ensure 100% engagement in EHS.
