Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Dallas-Fort Worth Area EHS Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions for assets in the DFW region. This role focuses on reducing risks to employees, facilities, and surrounding communities through proactive programs and regulatory compliance.

The role reports to the DFW Area EHS Manager and requires collaboration with engineers, management, and regulators. Travel up to 20% may be expected as part of risk mitigation and incident response activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred (CSP/CIH/CHMM).
• 4+ years of experience in related field.
• Experience with EHS Management Systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people and property.
• Develop site-specific annual EHS plans with operation leaders and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate occupational injuries and incidents, support business continuity and resilience.
• Educate and coach management on EHS roles and responsibilities.
