Job summary

Cardinal Health in El Paso is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions across assets in the El Paso area. These solutions are designed to manage, mitigate, and where possible eliminate EHS risks to employees, facilities, products, and the surrounding communities.

You will partner with operation leaders to develop site-specific EHS plans, support incidents and regulatory inquiries, and lead hazard assessments with risk-mitigation actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and workers’ compensation requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, community, information and brand.
• Partner with operation leaders to develop and execute site-specific annual EHS plans and standardize programs.
• Provide support for events, inquiries, and major incidents and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Lead site-specific hazard assessments and drive continual improvement actions.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements and report key performance metrics.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and audits and support business continuity and resiliency initiatives.
