Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Sacramento is seeking an EHS Advisor to develop and implement EHS solutions for assets in the Sacramento region, mainly to ready the Cardinal Health at-Home Distribution Center for operation.

This role partners with Operations Leadership to ensure facility compliance with regulatory standards and Cardinal Health EHS policies. The position reports to the EHS Director, West Region and focuses on mitigating risks to employees, facilities, and the surrounding community

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to support operations and regulatory needs.
• Experience in EHS management systems and regulatory coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supports implementation of EHS systems for a new distribution center.
• Assists with global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, community, information and brand.
• Partners with operations leaders to develop and execute site-specific annual EHS plans and risk mitigation measures.
• Provides support for events and inquiries from regulatory agencies, disasters, and business continuity.
• Leads site-specific hazard assessments and develops risk mitigation plans.
• Ensures compliance with Company and regulatory requirements and communicates KPIs.
