Job summary

Shirley Parsons seeks an energetic HSSE leader for its flagship Youngstown, OH site to elevate safety culture. You will lead day-to-day EHS support for over 1100 employees, coach staff, and drive risk reduction onsite.

Requirements include 5+ years in EHS, a related B.S. degree, and preferred CSP/CIH/CHST certification. Relocation to Youngstown, OH or commuting is expected with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

This is a critical position for a global manufacturer looking to elevate its safety culture & program. Our client is currently seeking an energetic, passionate HSSE leader to provide high-level day-to-day EHS support at their largest, flagship location in Youngstown, OH (over 1100 individuals).

This person will be responsible for driving the safety culture onsite, managing risk, and coaching others on best practices. They will perform risk assessments, trainings, incident investigations, data tracking/reporting, and build relationships with individuals on-site. This position involves significant responsibility in providing insight/feedback on the implementation of EHS programs at the boots-on-the-ground level as well.
