Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an EH&S professional for our on-site location in Troy, OH to lead environmental, health and safety programs across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing EH&S management system requirements, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in EH&S, experience in manufacturing environments, and knowledge of regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 3+ years in EH&S programs and management.
  • Experience developing and implementing environmental programs.
  • ASP or CSP is a plus.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • EH&S regulatory compliance and safety culture knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to ensure EH&S Management System requirements.
  • Advocate for EH&S-compliant ways to enable programs per customer specification and schedule.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence with EH&S standards; own one or more site EH&S programs.
  • Foster an EH&S culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
  • Interact with hourly, management, and contractors for program implementation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of EH&S metrics.
  • Support incident management from investigation through corrective action implementation.
  • Provide EH&S training to workforce and customized/process specific EH&S training.
  • Perform technical reviews, risk assessments, inspections of processes/facilities.
  • Learn to provide expert technical guidance to senior leadership, ensuring effective implementation of EH&S Management System requirements.
  • Learn to ensure timely and accurate reporting of EH&S metrics, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.

What You Will Do
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure effective execution of EH&S Management System requirements.
  • Find and advocate for EH&S-compliant ways to enable programs to proceed per customer specification and schedule.
  • Support the organization to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence with EH&S standards and procedures. Own one or more site EH&S programs.
  • Foster an EH&S culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
  • Interact with hourly, management, and contractors in support of EH&S program implementation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of metrics.
  • Support incident management from investigation through corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure required EH&S training is provided to workforce as well as any other customized/process specific EH&S training.
  • Perform technical reviews, risk assessments, analyses, and inspections of processes/facilities.
  • Support management reviews, assessments, and program evaluations as well as other internal reviews.
  • Ownership of site EH&S programs, overseeing their implementation and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Learn to provide expert technical guidance to senior leadership, ensuring effective implementation of EH&S Management System requirements.
  • Learn to ensure timely and accurate reporting of EH&S metrics, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.
What You Will Bring
  • A Bachelor’s OR Associate/ 3+ years of EH&S programs and management experience.
  • Knowledge Experience developing and implementing environmental programs or campaigns
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Education or experience in EH&S regulatory compliance, safety culture, and/or EH&S management systems.

Pay Range: $75,000-$78,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in Troy, OH

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, No travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
