Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking an EHR User Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support for the EHR, assist with training, and coordinate with specialized staff to resolve system issues. The role includes user access management, testing, and maintaining knowledge resources.

The position emphasizes end-user education, issue resolution, and ongoing support to maximize EHR effectiveness within clinical operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; One (1) year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience to equal five (5) years.

Responsibilities

Provides EHR access and end-user support, including troubleshooting, access management, and issue escalation.
Provides EHR training and guidance to end users on system functionality, workflows, and appropriate use.
EHR Technical Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Mantains EHR reference sites and shared resources and communicates relevant EHR alerts, updates, and notices to team members.
Participates in EHR system meetings to maintain current system knowledge and provide subject matter expertise as requested.
Performs other duties and special assignments as needed to support departmental and organizational objectives.
