Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a QI & A Specialist to lead quality assurance for supportive services within the EHR. You will coordinate training, chart reviews, and process improvements across teams, ensuring compliant documentation and data-driven service delivery.

Collaboration with program leaders and DATA ensures ongoing learning and high-quality client care. Ideal candidates have healthcare data analysis experience, EHR training experience, and a solid understanding of

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in a healthcare environment performing technical analysis and data management.
• Two years of experience with case management, peer specialist, client navigation, and/or other supportive services documentation.
• Experience with development and training of electronic health records preferred.
• Experience in the behavioral health industry helpful.
• Understanding of homelessness issues and trauma-informed care.
• Must be able to access and interpret information from computer screens and printed materials.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with stakeholders.
• Must adhere to process protocol.
• Must maintain superb customer service skills and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Provide workflow training and supervision of supportive services documentation in the EHR.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of supportive services documentation in the EHR through audits and reports.
• Run and analyze data, identify trends, plan quality improvement projects, and retraining as needed.
• Report audit results and compliance measures to leadership; identify risks with leadership.
• Ensure adherence to supportive services policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in regular communication and training with managers and directors on audit findings.
• Maintain LMS learning paths and instructional materials in response to policy changes and EHR upgrades.
• Collaborate with QI & A team and other staff to deliver governance and support.
• Work with DATA and other departments on projects and technical assistance for workflows.
• Cosign/review charting during training and quality improvement periods.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all services and tasks in EHR and other systems.
