Job summary

Optum in Waukesha, WI seeks an Advisory Services Consultant – Epic Trainer to deliver EHR training across classrooms, virtual sessions, and one-on-one coaching. You’ll support onboarding, upgrades, and mastery sessions, aligning with clinical workflows and adoption goals.

Eight weeks of on-the-job training, flexible hours 8:00am-4:30pm, occasional overtime; travel up to 10% locally; requires strong communication, MS 365 skills, and healthcare tech familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED requirement.
• Experience with healthcare technologies or adult education/training.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel up to 10% to local facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EHR training sessions (classroom, virtual, and one-on-one) following curricula.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical workflows and key practices.
• Administer and track proficiency exams and course completions.
• Use LMS to support enrollment, assessments, and completions.
• Adapt training to learner preferences and barriers.
