Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a senior-level EHR Trainer III to lead enterprise-wide education initiatives in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on developing training strategies, implementing system features, and optimizing workflows across clinical, administrative, and IT teams.

You will mentor other trainers, partner with leadership, and ensure effective adoption of EHR processes with a strong emphasis on HIPAA compliance and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience training users on EHR systems in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with Fusion EHR system.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules.
• Conduct individual and group EHR training sessions for new hires and existing staff.
• Tailor training approaches for clinical, administrative, and technical audiences.
• Provide hands-on instruction in both classroom and live patient care settings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the organization’s EHR system.
• Collaborate with IT and EHR Specialists to identify and address user issues or system changes.
• Assist in testing and validating new features, updates, and workflows prior to implementation.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and refresher training as needed.
• Assess user needs and identify training gaps or opportunities for process improvements.
• Work with leadership to align training content with compliance, regulatory, and organizational goals.
• Ensure all EHR use is compliant with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of training attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
• Provide post-training support through help desk assistance or on-site visits.

We are currently seeking a full-time Electronic Health Records (EHR) Trainer III to join our team in Nashville, TN.

The EHR (Electronic Health Record) Trainer III serves as a senior-level training professional responsible for leading EHR education initiatives, developing enterprise-wide training strategies, and supporting system implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts. This role partners with clinical, operational, and IT leadership to ensure effective adoption of EHR workflows and best practices across the organization. The EHR Trainer III serves as a subject matter expert, mentors other trainers, and drives continuous improvement in training programs and end-user performance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Education, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience training users on EHR systems in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency with Fusion required
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare documentation requirements
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt training style to different learning preferences and skill levels
