Job summary

Abbott Cancer Diagnostics is seeking a skilled EHR integration lead to drive complex healthcare IT projects across our diagnostics and treatment guidance platforms. You will manage scope, timelines, and requirements while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

The role requires 3–5 years in EHR or system integration, with Epic/Epic Bridges expertise and strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders. Willingness to travel ~25% across Exact Science locations is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.
3–5 years of experience in EHR or system integration, healthcare IT management, or IT project management.
Possession of Epic Bridges certification within 6 months of hire and maintenance throughout employment.
Strong knowledge of integration solutions (e.g., API), EHR systems (Epic, Cerner), HL7, and FHIR.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead EHR and system integration projects ensuring alignment with goals and regulatory standards.
Manage scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks using established PM practices.
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot and implement enhancements.
Coordinate changes from original specifications and report progress to stakeholders.
Present reports on integration progress, performance, and KPIs to stakeholders.
