Job summary

Ampcus Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced EHR Security Analyst to support security, access, and user provisioning for the EHR environment. You will collaborate with IT, compliance, and application teams to ensure appropriate access aligned with roles and policies.

The role focuses on security configuration, monitoring, and incident response within Cerner/OHPAC environments, ensuring HIPAA and organizational policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of IT experience.
• Three plus years of healthcare IT experience.
• Experience with EHR security, access control, and HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with Cerner/OHPAC environments.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Map and maintain EHR positions definitions and security groups.
• Reviews and processes EHR access requests per policy.
• Creates, modifies, and terminates user access per requests.
• Monitor and enforce EHR access control and appropriate access levels.
• Work with teams to define and automate user provisioning and offboarding.
• Monitor security audits and mitigate risks in the EHR app.
• Assist with security policies, documentation, and downtime procedures.
