Job summary

APSI Construction Management seeks a Construction Manager/Administrator for the Electronic Health Record Modernization project at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center West Haven, CT. The CM-CA will be on-site for the full duration, supporting project management, QA/QC, scheduling, and coordination with contractors.

Requirements include 3+ years of CM field experience, a relevant technical degree (preferred), OSHA 30-hour completion, and strong communication and software skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of construction field experience in CM tasks.
• Technical degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred but not required if applicable experience.
• Completion of 30-hour OSHA Safety Training within 60 days of NTP.
• Working knowledge of construction practices and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site CM-CA support for EHRM construction project from start to end.
• Assist the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative in project management, scheduling, and design reviews.
• Monitor cost control, record keeping, and payment processing; maintain thorough project documentation.
• Lead progress meetings and coordinate with general and subcontractors to ensure project status and schedule adherence.
• Prepare, analyze, and identify incongruities and deficiencies in contractor's work relative to construction documents.
