Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Health Information Technology Specialist to support integration of brand into EHR systems across priority accounts in the US, improving patient care and end-user experience.

You will collaborate with account management, medical and cross-functional teams, identify gaps, develop plans, and share insights across inpatient and outpatient settings. 4+ years with EHR design/build/testing required; Epic/Cerner/Meditech/McKesson knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
• Minimum of 4 years in design, build, and/or testing with EHR software (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson).
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT and software optimization techniques.
• Ability to identify issues, prioritize and resolve.
• Excellent presentation and strong written/oral communication.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential gaps/barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs and health systems.
• Problem solve and provide solutions for EHR gaps.
• Identify workflow barriers and recommend scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with end users, clinicians, IT informatics, and QA teams to provide insights.
• Align resources to develop comprehensive plans by priority institution.
• Complete workflow assessments to identify care gaps across the patient journey.
• Develop and implement customer-specific plans.
• Act as Health IT SME to internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Share insights to optimize EHRs for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.
