Job summary

MEDITECH is seeking a trainer to facilitate the use of our Enterprise Health Record (EHR) by clinicians and financial professionals. You will lead the training and installation of the MEDITECH EHR, serve as the primary client contact during implementation, and collaborate with staff across multiple MEDITECH applications.

The role requires project management, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to travel 50-75% within the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or 2-3 years applicable work or military experience
• No specific experience is necessary, we will train you!
• Preferred experience in clinical or financial areas will be given high consideration: clinical (nursing, pharmacy, radiology, etc.) or financial (AP, Billing, GL, HR/payroll, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Project management of clinical or financial software implementation to ensure effective LIVE
• Leading the training and installation of our EHR
• Acting as the primary contact for clients throughout the implementation process
• Multi-tasking and communicating with staff across multiple MEDITECH applications
• Providing customer service and troubleshooting application software issues
• Collaborating with programmer analysts to resolve technical issues
• Mentoring co-workers and participating in group projects
• Processing requests for system enhancements or modifications
• Designing and maintaining application documentation
• Updating and maintaining an online project tracking system
• Traveling 50-75% of the time, within the United States and Canada to conduct training
