Job summary

vTech Solution seeks an IT EHR Enterprise Business Analyst 3 to analyze and support EHR and practice management systems in a healthcare setting. You will work with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure functionality, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with developers for HL7 integration, manage system maintenance, and provide end-user training to optimize workflows and data security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in healthcare.
• Experience with system implementation, configuration, and support.
• Proficiency with HL7 standards and IT security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Ivanti for issue tracking and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer business needs and participate in planning, design, and implementation of EHR and related systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure HL7 standards integration and system support.
• Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems for optimal operation.
• Gather, document, and communicate business requirements with stakeholders including clinical and technical staff.
• Provide ongoing system support including updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant data accuracy and security.
• Coordinate with developers and administrators to resolve technical issues and improve platform performance.
• Perform regular system maintenance such as updates, patches, and backups.
• Provide technical support to end-users and liaise with vendor support teams as needed.
• Assist with training programs for clinic staff to enhance EHR system utilization.
• Analyze clinical workflows to identify opportunities for system optimization.
• Generate and analyze reports to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
• Deliver advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for software and cloud platforms.
• Create detailed JIRA tickets for developers and administrators to track issues and enhancements.
• Ensure IT systems and data security in accordance with best practices and policies.
• Utilize tools such as REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
