Job summary

Hillsboro Health is seeking an Informatics Specialist to provide operational, technical, and administrative support to the Clinical Informatics Department. This role assists with EHR-related tasks, end user support, and training logistics to ensure smooth operation of clinical systems and a positive user experience for staff.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours or on-call responsibilities based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Proficient with use and troubleshooting of clinical software.
• Solid foundation in computers and technology.
• Familiarity with EHR systems (CPSI/Oracle CommunityWorks a plus).
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Experience in Clinical Informatics/IT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for basic EHR and clinical software questions.
• Assist users with password resets, account access, and routine troubleshooting.
• Document and triage issues to informatics leadership or IT.
• Prepare training materials and facilitate onboarding and training sessions.
• Support informatics projects by gathering information and coordinating meetings.
• Work with IT, Quality, Nursing, and other departments on technology initiatives.
